DPhil Student in Clinical Medicine

Chit Su is currently reading for DPhil in Clinical Medicine at Centre for Global Health Research, Nuffield Department of Medicine.

Recognising "public" in public health, Chit Su examines health within the social, societal, and political contexts. Her recent research includes proposing a policy alignment framework for universal health coverage, analysing national laws and policies, examining the pattern of healthcare utilisation and unmet healthcare needs among Myanmar population. As part of her DPhil, Chit Su maps policies addressing healthcare provision for Myanmar migrants in Thailand, and explores their access to healthcare through lived healthcare itineraries.

Chit Su is qualified in medicine from University of Medicine (1), Yangon. She holds a Master of Arts in Health Social Science from Mahidol University and a Master of Science in International Health and Tropical Medicine with distinction from University of Oxford.
