Research Summary
I am a Molecular Genetics researcher with a background in developmental neuroscience, genetics, and psychiatry. I earned my PhD in Molecular Psychiatry from UCL, where I developed a passion for understanding the complex interplay between genetics and neurodevelopmental disorders.
In September 2022, I joined the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neuroscience. Currently, I am dedicated to studying the genetic risks associated with neuropathic pain and investigating their potential genetic overlaps with various psychiatric disorders. My research involves utilising data from DOLORisk, UK Biobank, and Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development Study. These rich datasets allow me to explore diverse ancestral backgrounds and shed light on how genetic risks relate to brain structures and functions.
