Michael Bride
Early Career Researcher
Michael is an early career researcher and DPhil candidate within the Clinical Informatics and Health Outcomes Research Group (CIHORG) at the University of Oxford and a HealthIntelAct fellow. His research focuses on developing patient centered approaches to improve influenza vaccination uptake among clinically at-risk groups in England.
Michael holds a Masters degree of Public Health in Epidemiology from New York University. Prior to starting at Oxford, he was a Research Officer at Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication Programs (CCP), where he conducted formative research and program evaluations on a wide variety of Social and Behavior Change interventions across Sub-Saharan Africa through Breakthrough ACTION. A returned Peace Corps volunteer from The Gambia, Mike has several years of experience designing, implementing, and evaluating interventions in low-resource environments.
His research interests include participatory approaches, economic evaluations of behavior change interventions, and mixed-methods study design.
