There are many practical control problems where the control action is implemented by a hybrid controller consisting of a combination of numerically valued functions and logic components. The interaction between a plant represented by a differential equation and a hybrid controller is currently not well understood. We present stability results for classes of hybrid control laws were the logic elements are expressed in propositional logic. We present necessary and sufficient conditions for quadratic stability of such systems.
